On the Terminals tab, it is possible to link defined coupling to a specific terminal serial number. Please note that the hardware type must be compatible between the terminal serial number and defined coupling. When you select a terminal serial number from the list, the Condence lists only couplings that are compatible with that type of terminal. If you don’t see your coupling in the list, it’s probably created for the wrong type of hardware. (Note. coupling is not mandatory when using ‘Device Manager’).
Let’s do this for our example case by clicking ‘Connect terminal’ and fill in the form:
- Available terminals: select one of the terminals from the list (use the same terminal serial number on the Data sources tab in the next phase)
- Select coupling: select ‘Pump monitoring setup’ (which we created on the Couplings tab)
- Click ‘Save’
This will deliver sensor and/or bus reading instructions to the terminal which starts producing raw data for analyzing rules.
