Inside the T-series Condence terminals, there are three led lights. These LED lights blink in different sequences, all of which mean different things. This support article will cover the sequences that these led lights can do.
Below is a description of how the LED lights behave and what the different blink modes mean.
Blink mode | Blinking sequence illustration (2 secs, 20 steps). * = led is on – = led is off | Description |
---|---|---|
ON | * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * | Led is always on. |
SLOW BLINKING | * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * – – | Led blinks slowly once per two seconds. Pattern: (on: 1.8 seconds, off: 0.2 seconds) |
FAST BLINKING | * – * – * – * – * – * – * – * – * – * – | Led blinks five times per second. Pattern: (on: 0.100 seconds, off: 0.100 seconds) x 5 |
QUICKLY TWICE | * * – – * * – – – – – – – – – – – – – – | Led blinks quickly two times per two seconds. Pattern: (on: 0,2 s, off: 0,2 s, on:0,2 s, off:1.4 s) |
QUICKLY ONCE | * * – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – | Led blinks quickly once per two seconds. Pattern: (on: 0.2 seconds, off: 1.8 seconds) |
OFF | – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – | Led is always off. |
Led 0 is a power indicator and should always be on when power is plugged in.
Led 1 is a terminal status indicator.
Led 2 is a network status indicator.
Below are the different blink modes for Led 1.
Terminal status values | Terminal status led blink mode (Led 1) | Description |
---|---|---|
TERMINAL STATUS OK | ON | The terminal is running without problems. |
TERMINAL STATUS RESTARTING or the enumeration is not found at all. | FAST BLINKING | The terminal is starting up, or terminal is shutting down for reboot. |
TERMINAL STATUS UPDATING | SLOW BLINKING | The updater is running. (software update in progress) |
TERMINAL STATUS SAFE MODE | QUICKLY ONCE | The terminal is running in safe mode. |
Below are the different blink modes for Led 2.
Network status values | Network status led blink mode (Led 2) | Description |
---|---|---|
HTTP CLIENT ONLINE & MQTT CLIENT ONLINE | ON | The terminal is successfully connected to the Internet. HTTP and MQTT connections were established. |
HTTP ClientStatus & MQTT ClientStatus files are not found | FAST BLINKING | The terminal is starting up or restarting after a system update. The network is not initialized yet. |
HTTP CLIENT OFFLINE & MQTT CLIENT ONLINE | QUICKLY ONCE | The terminal is online only with the MQTT client. HTTP client is offline. |
HTTP CLIENT ONLINE & MQTT CLIENT OFFLINE | QUICKLY TWICE | The terminal is online only with an HTTP client. MQTT client is offline. |
HTTP CLIENT OFFLINE & MQTT CLIENT OFFLINE | SLOW BLINKING | The terminal is working offline. |
