This article covers basic steps on what to do first when making a Condence T-series terminal installation.
When installing a terminal to an inconvenient location, please ensure all the functionalities, especially connections, are working beforehand.
How to connect
- Mount the terminal to its place.
- Connect the ethernet cable / SIM card to the terminal.
- Attach required sensors according to pinout *
- Connect the 23-pin connector to the 23-pin port
- Attach power supply according to pinout *
- Power up the terminal by activating the power supply

Connection
Your terminal is ready to connect after the terminal is plugged into the power supply and connected to your preferred internet connection type. The connection can be confirmed by looking at the 3 LED -lights inside the terminal.
Led lights will be lit in order, starting from the furthest one from the ethernet port:
- First, the left-most LED indicates that the terminal is getting power
- The second LED indicates that the terminal has a working configuration.
- The last one – the LED closest to the ethernet port – indicates that the terminal connects to the internet. It might blink for a while after booting the terminal.

Validating the connection
- When LED lights have light in them, your terminal is connected, and sensors are in place, your terminal is ready to use.
- Open the webpage https://app.condence.io/
- Log in with your user account provided by Distence Ltd.
- Note that if you do not have a working account, contact support@distence.fi
- For the first installation, Distence Ltd. has pre-configured metrics 10-1000Hz RMS and Time Waveform for your page. After connection, the metrics should appear approximately within 10 minutes on your Condence page. Ensure your terminal has a proper connection to the internet and the sensors.
- The point of pre-configured metrics is that we can get visual confirmation briefly after connecting the terminal. Configurations can be changed to suit your setup more closely.
- If your metrics do not appear on the Condence page within 20 minutes, recheck LED lights to give a continuous light without blinking. Also, check the connection with your sensors.
